Albino & Preto is a brand specializing in martial arts apparel and kimonos. With the tagline of “creative transitions,” A&P looks to highlight the artistic elements of the ever-changing and dynamic martial art of Jiu Jitsu.
WTAPS is one of the most recognized streetwear brands in Japan, birthed in the Harajuku streetwear scene in the 90’s. They are known for their carefully crafted approach to military garments and their slogan, “placing things where they should be”.
While WTAPS focuses on very simplistic designs, their materials and production process is where they shine. The gi(kimono) would be made from 450gsm Pearl Weave Cotton material and the pants would be constructed from 250gsm Ripstop material, which is also the standard for military uniforms.
